Pioneering composites for more than 30 years (since 1982), Neptune Research Inc. (NRI) has been engaging in the research, development, manufacture, and marketing of quality composites specifically designed for the structural rehabilitation to pipes, pipelines, tanks and civil structures.

NRI has successfully answered the industry call for inspectable composites. The objective of NRI’s patent pending inspectable composite system is to maximize the safety and reliability of existing NRI composite repair through a preventive maintenance (PM) program. This allows owners and operators to validate that the repair is in compliance with the design requirements of the piping system and related specifications required by NRI. Properly conducted PM inspections, will result in an accurate assessment of NRI’s composite repair condition and the rate at which that condition may or may not be deteriorating.

Documentation of the inspection can be used for trend evaluation during the repairs design life.The ability to now validate the integrity of NRI’s composite repair system will provide end users with a safer working environment by having the ability to now establish a risk management process at all phase of a composite repairs service life.NRI provides the perfect solutions for in-service repairs, allowing its clients to continue operations in a quick and reliable manner. It can handle most of aggressive acids. Acid-Shield was designed to repair corroded or damaged piping with harsh chemical services such as 98% sulphuric acid.
